Indigenous Bursary Program

Indigenous Bursary Program

CIC provides funding to the following Saskatchewan post-secondary institutions to award bursaries to Indigenous students to support their education goals and enable career opportunities by building a skilled and inclusive labour force:

  • University of Saskatchewan,
  • University of Regina,
  • Saskatchewan Polytechnic,
  • Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT);
  • Lakeland College;
  • North West College;
  • Great Plains College; and
  • South East College.

Indigenous students attending one of the above-listed institutions who wish to be considered for a bursary should apply via their institution.

* Please note that CIC does not directly award bursaries to students.

Eligible students may receive $2,500 per semester or $5,000 per academic year for a full bursary.
